This week, Supreme President Jimmy Kokotas facilitated a meeting between New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Mayor of Thermo, Mayor Spiros Konstandaras.

Having heard about Mayor Adams from his constituents, Mayor Konstandaras requested a meeting on his visit to America in order to personally thank him for the love and friendship he has shown the Greek American community through the years.  

Mayor Konstandaras also congratulated Mayor Adams on his leadership through the Covid recovery and invited the Mayor to visit Thermo on his next trip to Greece. Mayor Adams thanked the mayor for visiting and congratulated him on the celebration of Greek Independence Day!
