Last weekend, the 5th District AHEPA Cancer Research Foundation, Inc., awarded three, $17,500 grants to aid in the progress of cancer research. Supreme Counselor Themis Frangos represented Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos at this sold out gala event chaired by DOP Grand Secretary Antoinette Marousis-Zachariades and PSP Andy Zachariades. DOP Grand President Marianthi Treppiedi, DOP PGP Demi Thomas, SOP Supreme Treasurer George T. Horiates, and many other distinguished officers and guests, were present.
