The Brothers of Manhattan’s Delphi Chapter 25 in New York City celebrated their 100 year anniversary on November 11 at the Harvard Club with a black tie gala attended by a sold out crowd.

Chapter President Dr. Sotirios Stergiopoulos welcomed guests to the event and gave a detailed chapter history, including remarks on notable chapter members such as former U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, philanthropist John Catsimatidis, many past chapter presidents and brothers who served as pillars of the New York Greek community.

Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos was among many guest speakers on the program. He congratulated the chapter on its accomplishments and on setting an example for other chapters to follow before presenting the chapter with a proclamation acknowledging its centennial anniversary.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams also participated. He shared a congratulatory message and delivered a proclamation on behalf of the City of New York to honor this historic occasion. After additional awards were presented to significant chapter members, the event’s musical program Echoes of a Century, a tribute to the legendary Maria Callas, who was born 100 years ago, began under the musical direction of Maestro Costas Tsourakis and featured Metropolitan Opera soprano Olga Xanthopoulou.
