Tentative Schedule of Events
Our 2020 Disney Convention had to be postponed due to the pandemic, so in 2022, we’re going to make up for it and bring you a week full of fun that you won’t want to miss out on! We’ve worked with Walt Disney World Resort to secure a special convention rate for our attendees of $179/night plus tax and we anticipate that these rooms are going to sell out quickly!
Meetings will start on Monday, July 18th and Installations will conclude the convention on Friday, July 22nd, but we encourage you to take advantage of our rate and plan your family vacations around these dates. AHEPA 100th Anniversary Virtual 5k
This is a Virtual 5k race to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Order of AHEPA. The American Hellenic Educational Progressive association was founded in 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia, on the principles that undergirded its fight for civil rights and against discrimination, bigotry, and hatred. AHEPA is the largest and oldest grassroots association of American citizens of Greek heritage and Philhellenes with more than 400 chapters across the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Mission
The mission of the AHEPA Family is to promote Hellenism, Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility, Family and Individual Excellence.
Run this event as an individual, or join friends and safely run/walk as a group, or chapter.
Proceeds from this event will be going to the AHEPA Foundation 501(c)(3).
How to take part
Once you register for this virtual race challenge, Safely run/walk/treadmill the distance of 5k. You decide when and where (between March 16 to June 15). Once done, come back to this page and log the fact you finished.
This must be done before June 15, 2022. Medals will be mailed after the deadline date.
