On Saturday, August 24th, AHEPA Ventura Chapter #220 was officially reactivated during the annual St. Demetrios Greek Church BBQ in Camarillo/Ventura, California. This special occasion was made possible through the efforts of Past District Governor Nick Angelos, who invited District 20 Governor Andrew Eliopulos, Chapter President and Warden Pete Andrews, and Brother Peter Kydonefs—all of San Fernando Valley Chapter #412—to conduct the reactivation ceremony and welcome eight new Brothers into the Chapter.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the Brothers of Ventura Chapter #220 on this significant accomplishment. This reactivation marks an important milestone for District 20 as we continue to grow and strengthen our brotherhood.

It was equally inspiring to see the Daughters of Penelope Ventura Chapter co-host this memorable event, warmly inviting AHEPA Chapter #220 to join in the festivities. Approximately 125 members of the church and community attended, witnessing the ceremony and celebrating together. Following the reactivation, guests enjoyed a delicious tri-tip and chicken dinner—graciously prepared by the Brothers and served buffet-style by the Daughters. The celebration was highlighted by a spirited performance from the church’s young adult dance group.

A great day was had by all, as District 20 proudly celebrated the revival of Ventura Chapter #220, a chapter originally established in 1929.
