Supreme President Chris Kaitson led the AHEPA delegation to the 2025 Testimonial Dinner of the Federation of Cypriot American Organizations (FCAO), held at Terrace on the Park in New York City to honor President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides. The sold-out dinner was one of the marquee gatherings of the Greek-Cypriot diaspora this year, bringing together civic, cultural, and community leadership.
Joining President Kaitson were Past Supreme Presidents Nicholas Karacostas, Andrew Zachariades, Carl Hollister, George Horiates, and Savas Tsivicos, as well as Supreme officers including Vice President Zenon Christodoulou, Secretary Themistocles Frangos, and Governor Dean Moskos.
President Christodoulides delivered remarks emphasizing the vital role of diaspora leadership and the importance of cultural unity, while FCAO leaders and honorees underscored themes of heritage, service, and vision for Cyprus’s future. Archbishop Elpidophoros also addressed the gathering, reflecting on the continued mission for peace, justice, and unity within the Cypriot and Greek communities in America.
AHEPA’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to the broader Greek-Cypriot community, and its leadership’s presence lent strong support to FCAO’s mission of preserving cultural identity, promoting philanthropy, and strengthening the bonds between the diaspora and Cyprus.
