AHEPA leaders joined global dignitaries at Lincoln Center in New York City for the 2025 Templeton Prize ceremony honoring His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The event marked the conclusion of the Patriarch’s 12-day visit to the United States, recognizing his decades of spiritual leadership, environmental advocacy, and promotion of interfaith dialogue.
Supreme President Chris Kaitson attended the ceremony alongside Past Supreme Presidents Carl Hollister, Nicholas Karacostas, and Savas Tsivicos. Together, they represented the Order in paying tribute to His All Holiness and reaffirmed AHEPA’s enduring support for the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Distinguished speakers included former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and the late Dr. Jane Goodall, whose remarks celebrating the Patriarch’s lifelong dedication to stewardship and compassion were met with heartfelt admiration.
The evening served as a powerful testament to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s global impact and to AHEPA’s shared commitment to faith, service, and the preservation of Hellenic and Orthodox values.
