“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am saddened to share the news that President and CEO Steve Beck passed away on February 1, 2026, following a brief illness,” AHEPA Senior Living Board Chairman Ike Gulas, PSP, announced. “We extend our deepest condolences to Steve’s wife, Renee, his family, and loved ones, and ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”
“On a personal note, I and AHEPA Senior Living will greatly miss Steve Beck’s leadership and guidance, but more importantly for me, his friendship. He will be remembered as a CEO who left our company in a far better place than when he found it. His leadership strengthened AHEPA Senior Living, and his impact will be felt for years to come. In that spirit, Steve’s family has asked that a scholarship be established in his name to honor his legacy and commitment to service. More details will be shared as they become available.
“AHEPA Senior Living’s leadership team and Board of Directors remain fully engaged, and the organization’s operations and services will continue without interruption. Our mission, funding streams, and commitments remain unchanged.
“The Board will remain actively involved during this period and will share additional information, including funeral arrangements, as it becomes available,” Gulas said.
