Brothers and Sisters of the AHEPA Family and Friends,

AHEPA is proud to announce that our Brother, George G. Makricostas, of AHEPA Hancock Chapter 103 in Weirton, WV, has been selected to represent Team Greece in the upcoming Amerigol Latam Cup Ice Hockey competition in Sunrise, Florida.

This is the first time in over ten years that Greece has competed in international hockey play, and Brother Makricostas will not just be a player, but will be acting as a co-captain of the team as well. A Defenseman for the Robert Morris University Colonials Division One club hockey team, Makricostas looks forward to representing Greece and expanding the popularity of ice hockey in Greece.
