Members of the AHEPA Family were honored to be in attendance at His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros’ Nameday Gala benefit, held at Terrace on the Park in Queens, NY on November 17th. The gala raised over $400,000 for the Archdiocesan Youth Summer Camp Scholarship Fund, which allows youth across the Archdiocese to attend Greek Orthodox Summer Camps regardless of their family’s financial status.

Supreme President Tsivicos, AHEPA Board Vice Chairman George G. Horiates, PSP, and Executive Director Basil Mossaidis were just some of the AHEPA Family members present at the sold out event. AHEPA commends His Eminence for once again using the occasion of his nameday to bring attention to such a worthy cause!

The Supreme President also had the opportunity to accompany the Mayor of his hometown of Paphos, Cyprus, Phedon Phedonos later this week as he met with His Eminence.
