AHEPA Supreme President Chris Kaitson and Executive Director joined distinguished members of the Greek American community in Washington, D.C., to honor His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople during a series of official events.

The delegation attended a luncheon hosted by Greek Ambassador Nassika at the Dumbarton Oaks Museum, where Supreme President Kaitson briefly greeted His All Holiness. Additional events included a State Department dinner with Deputy Secretary of State Mike Regas, Ambassador Designate Kimberly Guilfoyle, and members of Congress, as well as a luncheon featuring welcoming remarks by the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.

A private gathering in recognition of His All Holiness, hosted by Archon John S. Koudounis in collaboration with The Bartholomew Foundation, brought together AHEPA leadership. Supreme President Kaitson, Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos, Sons of Pericles Supreme President Basili Ronstadt, Maids of Athena Grand President Stephanie Owens, and AHEPA Canada President Anastasios Moussas were among those in attendance at the event, which was held at the NED Club and featured Speaker of the House Mike Johnson as a special guest.
These events highlighted AHEPA’s continued commitment to supporting the Ecumenical Patriarchate and strengthening the bonds within the Greek Orthodox community.
