Supreme President Jimmy Kokotas met with His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, New York City, September 17, 2021.

A discussion about the planned visit of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to the United States this October and the plight of the Ecumenical Patriarchate was held. Supreme President Kokotas also discussed AHEPA’s Centennial, and he provided an update about AHEPA’s drive to provide natural disaster assistance.

“We sincerely thank Archbishop Elpidophoros for the generous time afforded us to discuss issues of mutual interest,” Supreme President Kokotas said. “The AHEPA family values the close ties it has with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. We look forward to welcoming His All-Holiness and to celebrating our centennial anniversaries.”
