AHEPA Senior Living commemorated the official opening of AHEPA 192 Phase 4 Apartments, a 90-unit community of affordable senior housing in Des Moines, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on October 13, 2025, announced President and CEO Steve Beck. Located at 6705 SE 5th Street, the three-story development provides quality, affordable homes for very low-income seniors aged 62 and over through a partnership with HUD’s Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly program. Residents began moving into their new homes on August 1.  read more
