As a nonprofit affordable housing management provider, AHEPA Senior Living is obligated to distribute its profits. Every HUD Section 202 community AHEPA Senior Living manages that has its own charitable foundation receives funding for the distribution of grants in their communities. With these grants, they can do more in the communities they serve by giving back to nonprofits that share AHEPA’s mission and values. In doing so, AHEPA Senior Living aims to extend its compassion beyond our properties, playing a role in the larger community.

One recent example is AHEPA Housing 78 of Merrillville, Indiana. Through the local housing board’s charitable entity, Hoosier District 12 Governor Harry Mihalidis and AHEPA 100, Inc. Board President Panos Niarchos presented a donation to HOPE Ministries on November 19 to help the charity fulfill its mission during the holidays.
