The District 3 Convention provided an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and enduring impact of AHEPA chapters throughout the region, including the Centennial Celebration of Robert E. Lee Chapter 122 in Norfolk, Virginia.
Following Divine Liturgy at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Chapter 122 presented its annual educational scholarships to deserving students, continuing its longstanding commitment to supporting academic excellence and investing in future generations. The celebration also showcased the chapter’s many contributions to the community and recognized honorees whose service reflects the values of AHEPA.
Supreme President Chris Kaitson addressed attendees, sharing insights on AHEPA’s philanthropic mission and the positive impact the organization continues to make across the country. Congratulations were extended to the chapter’s scholarship recipients, honorees, and dedicated volunteers for their hard work and commitment.
Later in the day, Supreme President Kaitson traveled to Falls Church, Virginia, to visit Peter Derzis Chapter 438 and assist with its annual festival celebration.
