In a continuation of our spotlight of Greek Independence Day Celebrations throughout the AHEPA Domain, we bring you photos from the third annual flag raising in downtown Toledo, Ohio, and from last weekend’s flag raising in front of City Hall in Boston, Massachusetts!

On March 25th, a ceremony was held at One Government Center in downtown Toledo in honor of Greek Independence Day. Remarks were offered by Mayor of Toledo Wade Kapszukiewicz, Commissioner and Ahepan George Sarantou, Reverand Father Larry Legakis, also an Ahepan, and Toledo Chapter Secretary Tony Capranica.

The City of Boston raised the Greek Flag in front of City Hall on April 5th in celebration of Greek Independence Day and in conjunction with their Greek Independence Day Parade Weekend, hosted by the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England. AHEPA was represented at the official flag raising by Board of Trustees member Alex Geourntas.
