Supreme President Kaitson, along with Supreme Vice President Dr. Zenon Christodoulou, Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos, Supreme Governor Dr. Gregory Simones, and SOP Supreme President Basilios Ronstadt, joined AHEPA Chapter 98, in New Haven, Connecticut, on Saturday to celebrate their 100 year anniversary.
The dinner was attended by over 200 AHEPA Family members, including PSP Dr. John Grossomanides, DOP PGP Anna Helene Grossomanides, AHEPA Past Supreme Counselor Greg Stamos, and SOP Past Supreme Governor George Antonellis, to celebrate everything that Chapter 98 has accomplished since their founding in March of 1926. Since its founding, the Chapter has been one of the strongest in Yankee District 7, which includes Connecticut and Rhode Island. Members of the District 7 AHEPA Family, including the Sons of Pericles Constantinople Chapter 15 of New Haven, came out in full force to support this event.
Chapter 98 President George Scarveles and the Brothers of Chapter 98 were commended by the Supreme President for hosting such a successful event, as well as for accomplishing so much since their inception. The evening’s event was also attended by special guest U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, who represents Connecticut in the senate and is a recipient of the 2024 AHEPA Pericles Award. Congratulations, Brothers, on 100 years!
