The Sons of Pericles hosted their annual Greeks in New York basketball tournament June 7-9th in Jamaica, New York, with proceeds from the weekend’s events going to benefit their joint national project with the Maids of Athena, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Tournament participants attended a group dinner at Maria’s Mediterranean in Bayside, Queens and a Greek Night at the Melrose Penthouse following games on Saturday. Congratulations to Team Brooklyn for winning Greeks in New York 2024!

In tandem with the Greeks in New York tournament, the Maids of Athena Grand Lodge hosted Mission: NYC, an Amazing Race style scavenger hunt that took participants around the city to explore the famous sights and experience them in an incredibly unique way!

The New York City events are the last National events that the Sons and Maids will host before they convene in Nashville, Tennessee this summer for their Stateside legislative convention.
