AHEPA Supreme President Chris Kaitson visited the Greater Philadelphia area to participate in early planning discussions for the 2026 AHEPA Supreme Convention, joined by chapters from Districts 4 and 5.

The meeting, chaired by General Chairman and Past Supreme President George Horiates, brought together members of the convention committee, including Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos and Supreme Governor Alex Barlamas. District 4 Governor Timothy Vlassopoulos and Daughters of Penelope representative Georgia Chletcos also contributed to the planning session.

During the meeting, the committee explored possibilities for a week-long convention experience that would highlight Philadelphia’s history and strong Hellenic community. In recognition of the city’s support, a ceremonial “key to the City of Brotherly Love” was presented to the committee.

The 2026 AHEPA Supreme Convention will take place in Philadelphia from July 26–31, 2026, and organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants for their leadership and commitment to ensuring a memorable event.
