Supreme President Visits New York Chapters

During His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s visit to New York, AHEPA Supreme President Chris Kaitson met with members of throughout Empire District 6, strengthening connections with local chapters and leadership.

Supreme President Kaitson was joined by Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos, Supreme Governor Dean Moskos, and Chairman of AHEPA Foundation Inc., Past Supreme President Nicholas Karacostas, in visiting Evzone Chapter 405 in Rye, NY. The event was warmly hosted by national basketball chairman Costas Papademetriou and chapter member and Past Supreme Governor Tom Dushas, with members of the Supreme Lodge in attendance. The brothers of Chapter 405 were thanked for their hospitality.

On Monday evening, Supreme President Kaitson continued his New York visit with Delphi Chapter 25 in Manhattan, one of the Order’s most historic chapters, chartered in 1923 and notable for members such as President Franklin Roosevelt. Supreme President Kaitson met with the brothers alongside Supreme Secretary Frangos, Supreme Counselor Ted Stamas, and Supreme Governor Moskos. Chapter 25 was recognized for its innovative efforts to maintain and grow membership in New York.

These visitations underscored AHEPA’s ongoing dedication to chapter engagement and the strengthening of brotherhood across Empire District 6.
