Last night, Convention attendees flocked to the Philadelphia Art Museum for the “America the Beautiful,” Reception. There, guests were treated to hors d’oeurves and an open bar. The museum remained open for guests to view various exhibits and engage in camaraderie before heading back to the hotel ballroom for the after hours Greek Dance Party.

During the event, several notable individuals addressed the crowd, including museum staff, AHEPA Supreme President E. Chris Kaitson, Daughters of Penelope Grand President Antoinette Marousis-Zachariades and President of the Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley, John Vasiliou.

At the after hours party, an open bar and Philadelphia-style soft pretzels were provided and guests Greek danced late into the night thanks to the “Sergianni Orchestra,” who played traditional Greek dance music for all attendees interested in a bit of late night dancing.

Today, AHEPA Athletics held their annual Luncheon event, gathering the convention this afternoon for a meeting and celebration of some of the most notable athletes from across the AHEPA domain. This includes recognition for the National Athletic Awardees, the AHEPA and DOP Scholar-Athletes and the Hall of Fame inductees.

The program began with greetings from Chris G. Atsaves, Supreme Athletic Director, Supreme President Kaitson, Grand President Maroussis-Zachariades and President/Chairman of AHEPA National Housing Corporation, Ike Gulas, PSP.

The luncheon then moved to recognize its National Athletic Awardees. The Awards were as follows:
