AHEPA awarded 25 students with scholarships and awarded two grants through the AHEPA National Educational Foundation for the 2020 academic year, announced Supreme President George G. Horiates and National Educational Foundation Chairman George Vorkas.
“We congratulate the 2020 scholarship and grant recipients on their outstanding academic achievements and the grantees who are doing important research in the community,” Horiates said. “They have one dream in common—looking to become tomorrow’s leaders. We are proud to count them as AHEPA scholars.”
Collectively, AHEPA awards more than $2 million annually through local, district, and national scholarship foundations.
According to Chairman Vorkas, the 2021 scholarship application will be made available before January 31, 2021. The deadline to submit the application will be March 31, 2021.
The National Educational Foundation continues its pursuit to develop new and more responsive ways to help younger generations achieve their academic dreams. In addition to scholarship and grant opportunities, Journey to Greece, Odyssey in Athens, AHEPAcademy, and the MBA program through Webster University are programs that provide opportunities for enriched learning experiences or the ability to earn college credit.
