Dr. Michael Rubin, Senior Fellow for the American Enterprise Institute, specializing in Foreign and Defense Policy, visited AHEPA Global Headquarters early this week.

During a meeting with Executive Director Basil Mossaidis and AHEPA Government and Public Affairs Associate Stefanos Gemelas, Rubin shared friendly remarks and discussed the future of U.S., Greek, and Cypriot foreign policy. Mossaidis shared AHEPA’s appreciation for Rubin’s work in academia and journalism, holding Turkey accountable for its consistent disregard of international treaties, standards, and norms.

After familiarizing Dr. Rubin with AHEPA’s proud history and mission, the group discussed cooperation in the future, beginning with an award for Rubin’s work thus far. He will receive the 2025 AHEPA Academy of Achievement Award in International Relations at this year’s National Banquet in Washington, D.C. on May 21st.
