Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, a cherished tradition continued as Supreme President Chris Kaitson, joined by Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos, Sons of Pericles Supreme President Basili Ronstadt, Executive Director Basil Mossaidis, and Chapter 515 President Kyriakos Mossaidis, led the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, in honor of 650 Greek American veterans.

Over 70 members of the AHEPA Family in District 3 came together to pay tribute to their fallen heroes. With a history dating back to 1949, Ahepa has consistently honored its heroes through wreath placement and remembrance, supported by AHEPA National. John Costalas of AHEPA Chapter 383 in Silver Spring, MD served as the event coordinator, which attracted members from various locations, including Baltimore, Silver Springs, Bethesda, Washington DC, Fairfax, Arlington, Vienna, and Ashburn. More than 12 Ahepa Family Chapters demonstrated their commitment by attending the ceremony despite the cold and wet weather conditions.

Appreciation was extended to all participants and attendees for their dedication to this meaningful occasion. Supreme President Kaitson invited all attendees to participate in the annual breakfast hosted at Metro 29 Diner.
