Additionally, Supreme President E. Chris Kaitson and Supreme Governor George McClure attended the “Saguaros” Phoenix Chapter 219’s Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday, where they honored several Veteran Members with AHEPA Medals for Military Service – an honor recognized by the 106th Congress. Brothers from the Tucson Chapter 275 and Chandler Chapter 454 joined for the occasion, where the following individuals received distinctions:

Chris Francis – US Air Force Matt Turgeon – US Air Force

Santiago Valles – US Navy

During the event, a full traditional Thanksgiving meal was served to over 160 attendees, and over $14,000 was raised and donated to various local charities.
