Supreme President Ventures North of the Border

Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos recently completed a visitation to multiple AHEPA Chapters in Canada. Accompanied by AHEPA Canada President Emmanuel Constas and Supreme Counselor Themis Frangos, his first visit was to Lord Byron Chapter CJ01 in Toronto, Ontario. The Supreme President helped initiate twelve brothers into the Order and presented AHEPA Heroes medals to Past Canadian President Bill Bakalis as well as Past Chapter President Jim Fabrikis.

The Supreme President later ventured into the province of Quebec to attend the Montreal AHEPA Family’s 23rd annual Valentine’s Day Ball. The event, hosted annually by the Montreal AHEPA Family, celebrated the donation of $50,000 to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation to focus on their Pediatric Neuromodulation Program to innovate breakthroughs in preventing epilepsy through TMS treatment.

They were also accompanied by AHEPA Canada President Emmanuel Constas, AHEPA District 23 Governor James Hutchison, DOP Grand Vice President Margaret Dritsas, DOP Grand Governor Xanthe Vafopoulou, SOP Supreme President Alec Economakis, & MOA Grand President Ally Tsenekos.

Last, but certainly not least, the Supreme President was hosted by our Brothers in Sir Edward Codrington Chapter CJ05 of Ottawa, along with the Sons of Pericles Maple Leaf Chapter CJ06 of Ottawa for a visitation.

Each of the Chapters visited by Supreme President Tsivicos donated $5000 to the AHEPA Journey to Greece program.
