Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos visited AHEPA District 10, where he received a warm welcome to Michigan for a weekend full of fellowship, recognition, and dedication to the Order of AHEPA’s mission.

The Automotive District’s lodge hosted the Supreme President in a private dinner where Brother Tsivicos joined members in discussing key issues that currently impact the Order. Courtesy of Brother Dino Stathis, the evening continued with fellowship at a cigar night, bringing together brothers in true AHEPA spirit. During the evening, the brothers of VI Chebithes Chapter 391 presented outgoing District Governor James Thomas with a personal AHEPA sword—commemorating his service and dedication to the District over the past year.

At Saturday’s Educational Foundation Banquet, over $200,000 in scholarships were awarded to 56 deserving students—each receiving a minimum of $2,500. The Supreme President presented the AHEPA Medal of Honor to several distinguished brothers for their decades of service and leadership: Past Chairman Dino Stathis, Milton Gust, Lou Pavledes, Past Supreme Governor George Mortis, Honored Dignitary Spyros Politis, longtime Lodge Member Theo Alexander, Dr. Theodore Pantos, Peter Rageas, John Manolis, and Vasili Vouharas. Special recognition was also given to outgoing District Governors Joanne Dau and James Thomas, and incoming Governor Othon Economopoulos. Together, they presented Brother Milton Gust with a 50-Year Service Award for his lifetime of honorable service, particularly in the founding and growth of the Educational Foundation.

The weekend served as a powerful reaffirmation of AHEPA’s enduring values and impact.
