Just before the holidays, Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos embarked on a successful tour of the Western Chapters, visiting Albuquerque, NM; Salt Lake City and Ogden, UT; Cheyenne, WY; and Denver, CO. Joined by Supreme Governor Marshall Monsell and Supreme Treasurer Themistocles Frangos, the Supreme President worked to bolster AHEPA programs and prepare chapters to achieve their year-end goals.
The tour began after the President’s participation in a remarkable Journey to Greece fundraiser and included a stop in Cheyenne, WY, where Cowboy Chapter 211, chartered in 1929, hosted a dinner event. There, the Supreme President spoke on the enduring mission of AHEPA in the West and proudly bestowed an AHEPA Heroes Medal upon Past Supreme Governor Tim Joannides.
The week concluded with the Denver AHEPA Chapter 145 annual Christmas dinner, attended by over 200 members and their families. At the event, Supreme President Tsivicos was joined by SOP Supreme Governor George Antonellis, who met with the officers of SOP Rocky Mountain Chapter 83 that were in attendance. The Supreme President shared inspiring remarks about AHEPA’s mission and vision, celebrating the fellowship and commitment of the chapters.
A special thanks to Supreme Governor Marshall Monsell for coordinating the visit and to all the brothers who contributed to the success of this Western Visitation Week.
